Development of New NES Computer Science Test

The Evaluation Systems group of Pearson is currently working with a national panel of educators to develop a Computer Science test for the National Evaluation Series (NES) teacher certification testing program. NES Computer Science is being developed for states seeking a solution for teacher candidate demonstration of subject-knowledge proficiency within the content area of Computer Science.

The development of NES Computer Science is targeted to be completed by fall of 2018. At that time this test will be available nationally for adoption by state education agencies as a part of their current teacher licensure testing program.
